Lokesh's request to Rajnath Singh: Set up a Defence Cluster in Andhra Pradesh.
Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT, Education, and Electronics, urges Union Ministers to establish an AI Center of Excellence and Defence Cluster in Andhra Pradesh, and discusses state development projects including Amaravati and Polavaram.

New Delhi: It is known that the State Minister for IT, Education, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, is on a visit to Delhi. As part of his two-day visit, Nara Lokesh arrived in Delhi on the 4th of this month. During his visit, Minister Nara Lokesh met with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and requested that the AI Center of Excellence for Education, which was announced in the recent Union Budget, be established in Andhra Pradesh.
He also requested cooperation for setting up data cities and electronics companies. Recently, on Wednesday, Minister Lokesh met with Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and urged for the establishment of a Defence Cluster in Andhra Pradesh. Lokesh stated that the state, which was left in a disordered state by the previous government, is now back on the path of development. He informed Union Railway Minister Rajnath Singh about the progress of work on the state capital Amaravati and the Polavaram project, with the cooperation of the central government.
Lokesh thanked the central government for providing oxygen to Andhra Pradesh, which was drowned in a debt of Rs. 10 lakh crores due to the previous government's thoughtless policies. He mentioned that the coalition government is working systematically to lead Andhra Pradesh towards development, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goal of a developed India. Union Minister Rajnath Singh assured that they would extend their support and cooperation for the development of Andhra Pradesh. The event was attended by Union Ministers Rammohan Naidu, Srinivas Varma, MPs Harish Mathur, and other Members of Parliament.
